NutriMe Production

We produce our dietary supplements to the highest standards at a site of about 1,500 m² in Salzburg (Austria), where we have state-of-the-art production machinery.

Currently, we handle around 20,000 individualized micronutrient mixes per month. However, we plan to increase our production capacity to 100,000 supplements per month soon.

Precisely dosed composition based on desired formulas

An established algorithm with over 200,000 lines of code calculates your individualized blend based on your analysis results. For safety, safeguards in the source code prevent exceeding maximum amounts of certain micronutrients in your personal supplement.

Unexpected deviations, such as overdosages of certain nutrients, can be immediately detected and manually corrected by our qualified staff.

As a dietary supplement manufacturer, we always aim to offer you exclusive, risk-free products, manufactured according to the strictest guidelines.

Quality controls during the manufacturing process

All raw materials from new suppliers are tested for heavy metals, PAHs, and their nutrient concentration, as well as subjected to microbiological tests before being included in our range.

During the production process, every batch of micronutrients is checked for nutrient content and microbiology, so that each personalized supplement pack undergoes around 50 quality checks.

First-Class Water Treatment

Before we use tap water for production, we desalinate it using reverse osmosis. Remaining salt residues are removed by double distillation. We store it at 80°C to inhibit bacterial growth and achieve the best water quality for production.

Vacuum Drying to Preserve Nutrients

For our supplements, we load small microcarriers with raw materials in an innovative process. The resulting pellets are then dried in our four vacuum chambers at moderate temperatures, preserving the essential nutrients in the microcarriers.

We guarantee our customers tailor-made and doping-free supplements. Even athletes can safely use our micronutrient mixes to achieve maximum performance.

Since our formulations are individualized and cannot be tested for doping substances by external institutions as usual, we have established our own testing procedure. All raw materials are regularly tested for banned substances and are only used in production if the results are negative.

The Effectiveness Depends on the Delivery Form

The effectiveness of supplements is not only determined by the formula but also by the proper dosage and the delivery form. Standard supplements in the form of capsules, powder, or liquid are of little use to our body, as they release the entire dose of micronutrients at once.

Since our body cannot absorb an excessive amount of nutrients all at once, the effectiveness of such supplements is reduced.

Innovative Loading of Microcarriers

We address this problem by packaging raw materials into microcarriers. These are small, tasteless pellets made of indigestible plant fibers and corn starch, with which we can create any formula. At the same time, they protect the contained nutrients from oxidation and release them gradually.

To ensure that nutrients are only released in the intestine, we coat our microcarriers with a shell resistant to gastric juice or beeswax.

Most standard nutrient supplements are absorbed quickly through the intestinal lining and rapidly degraded. In contrast, our microcarriers gradually release vitamins and minerals in small doses, ensuring your body is supplied throughout the day.

Optimized Micronutrient Absorption

Since some micronutrients enhance each other’s absorption, we load the same microcarriers with calcium and vitamin D, for example. This maximizes their respective absorption in your body.

No Blocked Absorption

Other micronutrients like zinc and calcium can inhibit each other’s absorption because they use the same transport mechanisms. Encapsulating these nutrients in different microcarriers allows for spatial and temporal distribution in the intestine, preventing blocked absorption.

We analyze over 50 genes that, according to current research, influence individual micronutrient needs for our personalized supplements.

This allows us to determine whether certain antioxidants function as usual or if a specific micronutrient should be dosed differently due to a gene variant.

If you inform us of any health issues in advance, we can incorporate this information into our algorithm, which calculates the ideal formula for you.

Biological and Pharmaceutical Sources for Our High-Quality Raw Materials

The suppliers of our raw materials must adhere to high-quality standards to guarantee the best possible effectiveness of our micronutrient mixes.

We use raw materials from biological sources whenever possible, as they usually have high bioavailability and are also better tolerated.

Biological extracts, however, often contain relatively low amounts of micronutrients. To achieve the required dosage, the volume of the final product must be increased.

Since biological sources do not always provide the necessary nutrients in the required form, we produce some nutrients pharmaceutically.

Benefits from the Right Mix

Synthetically produced nutrients are highly pure and can therefore be precisely dosed. Compared to naturally occurring raw materials, they also remain stable for longer.

Due to the advantages of both, we use ingredients from both biological and pharmaceutical sources in the production of our supplements, although nutrients from the latter tend to have lower bioavailability.

Depending on the individual formula, the ratio may vary, but usually, our supplements consist of about 80% micronutrients from biological sources.

The effectiveness of our micronutrient blends is largely based on the quality of our raw materials. Therefore, we rely on approximately 80% organic ingredients and about 20% pharmaceutically produced ingredients.

For our dietary supplements, we prefer micronutrients from organic sources whenever possible. These are often better tolerated and possess high bioavailability, which means they can be well absorbed and utilized by the body. An example of this is calcium from special algae. However, a disadvantage is that these sources usually offer a lower concentration of the respective nutrient, requiring a larger end product volume for the desired dosage.

For certain applications, we resort to pharmaceutically produced micronutrients. These offer the advantage of higher dosage and purity, allowing for precise blends. Additionally, they are more stable than their organic counterparts.

Our goal is to offer our customers the best of both worlds. Therefore, we combine the advantages of both manufacturing processes in our products. The result: A dietary supplement consisting of about 80% organic and 20% pharmaceutical ingredients. This mixing ratio can vary depending on the specific formula. MANUFACTURING

Calcified algae are harvested from the pure waters of the North Atlantic in the region of Iceland. The calcium is then extracted in the form of calcium carbonate, quality tested, and subsequently packaged.

MANUFACTURING

Deep-sea fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids are caught from waters in the geographical region of China. After harvesting, the fish oil is carefully extracted from these fish. This fish oil, containing the valuable omega-3 fatty acids, is then encapsulated in bovine gelatin capsules. After encapsulation, the oil is quality tested and finally packaged for distribution.

PHYTOSTEROL

The phytosterol used is one of the highest quality natural sterol sources, obtained from pine (pine source). Phytosterol from this biological source occurs in its natural form and represents a pure and environmentally friendly method for obtaining this important plant sterol.

The vegan production of Vitamin D3 is based on an alternative source of cholesterol derived from lichens. For the vegan production of Vitamin D3, cholesterol is extracted from these lichens. This cholesterol is then irradiated, similar to the process with animal cholesterol, to produce Vitamin D3.
